Back when I played in bars &amp; clubs I had to carry my own gear - does that count? Otherwise, no.Goose, I can totally picture you setting up mic stands and tuning guitars for like Foghat, or .38 Special, or maybe even Bad Company - banging a lot of "5&#x27;s &amp; 6&#x27;s" that Paul Rodgers didn&#x27;t want.....

I was doing lights for a Dead concert in the early 1990's and saw Seka going up a ladder in a dress with no underwear. I went up the ladder below her and had the view all the way to the top.

Last Dead show I did though. Those folks party way too hard. They kept their acid in liquid form inside of eye drop containers. You were always seeing people sip from a Visine bottle.

SekaHash under glass.Carved up a 1/4 inch square and pinned it under cardboard.  Lit it and covered it with a cocktail glass.Served each band member with a snort and the practice was Aces.My contribution to the masterpiece.

My cousin was in a band while I was in college, and he got me a "job" doing security for an all-day/night concert that Steppenwolf (with John Kay, of course) was in. Got a t-shirt that said 'Security' on it, free admission, and could roam wherever I wanted. Since his band was the one that set up the gig, we got to meet Steppenwolf at a bar after it was over.

Kay was way cool, and so was the rest of the band.
