Anyone else feel like Kobe is moving into Jordan's shoes?

Ask me this question 2-5 yrs ago, I would say NOT A CHANCE. I&#x27;m that guy that gets pissed everytime someone compares Lebron to Jordan. Lebron...has never won anything in life. Jordan...guaranteed to win it all. But this season for some reason...it just feels like Kobe is has moved into that realm. The best on the planet, period. And I do not even like the guy. But geez....no one else can do what he does and in the biggest of situations. With a broken finger, even?! Anyone else feel like this?

Agreed. But .......&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;yep...I am speechless when I see these last second shots. Having that confidence with the ball in your hands. No one else has that right now.

Kobe is rich, good hoop player, has championships, and is an adulterer.  Fair to say he&#x27;s "Like Mike".

I just had this conversation with my kid the other day. Yes, Kobe is the best, no question. But, as my kid asked me, "dad, who would you take Kobe or MJ in thier prime?" I told him, "without hesitation, I would take Jordan."

Did you see that stat they were showing on ESPN. It actually shows that Lebron hits more game winning shots then Kobe does and he does it at a higher percentage based on the shots taken. But, I still think Kobe is better and I would take him over Lebron any day.

I never thought I would see anyone even approach Jordan's level, but I think we now have it. I don't want to admit it, and I think that comes with our age. I'm 31, but Jordan was the guy growing up, and we don't want to see anyone take those great memories of game winning shots and championships away.

Ask any 18 year old and I'm sure he says Kobe is the greatest. Ask someone a few years older and they say nobody can compare to Dr J, Wilt, Russell, whoever.

I do think the times have changed and the sheer athleticism of these guys is amazing. Some of the dunks and drives Jordan put on the highlight reels are done night in and night out now by the likes of Wade, Lebron, and even the Josh Smiths of the world.

Said the same thing to a few friends about 3-5 years ago. I said Kobe would end up matching or surpassing MJ once he was able to get a championship on his own, without Shaq.

He finally got that championship and he still has a good chance at another 2 or 3 by the time he retires.

I dont think Lebron is on either of their levels just because he does not have the jump shot yet. Lebron can just overpower and get to the rim with ease, more easy than anyone else I have ever seen but its also becasue he is 6'8 250 and can handle. His jump shot is the part of his game that is lacking and preventing him from being that ultimate player. Scary part is he can work on his jump shot and even if it takes him another 3 years or so to perfect it he will still only be 28 years old.
