If you must use one of the two and why I&#x27;m not sure then work with Grey Flannel. Your item might not meet a reserve but you won&#x27;t get hosed.

I would just sell it on Ebay. You can start the bidding at 1 cent and guarantee it's pretty much going to end according to it's fair value.

Just check completed auctions and see how much they sold for. He must have a really expensive, one of a kind collective then if he won't tell us what it is and has been asked 3 times by people that are trying to help him.

Honus Wagner card? Willie Mays signed, game-worn jersey that he wore in the world series or something? If it's like a signed baseball it's not anything special no matter who you have on it really.

[/Quote]Agree, ebay is probably the best spot.  High amount of traffic and you can set reserve price.  With something like this, I would avoid craigslist.  Unless you are meeting at a central location or have proof the person is legitimate, you will get flooded with spam messages for it.

It basically scares away anyone interested because even if you win, the seller doesn&#x27;t have to sell it to you. The buyer has no idea whether you&#x27;re reasonable, or shooting for the moon with your reserve price.&#xD;&#xA;If you refuse to sell it for any less than a certain number, just have that as your starting bid. Ebay 101. &#xD;&#xA;I would also avoid craigslist. Many lowballers on that site, and putting your item out to the world is worth the 10-15% or so you pay in commission. Just make sure you have a COA or you&#x27;ve got nothin.
