Xena lives in Madagascar.
The rules there are very fuzzy.
Funny you say that. I watched a dvd yesterday and have since been taking the piss out of the commentator who kept pronouncing it Madagascaaaar. But youre correct, the rules are as fuzzy as the lima's.
The problem is not so much crossing the road, its the fact it was crossed to go into ANGLE parking. Almost a U-turn in a sense. A few people seem to think youre meant to be on the same side of the road for angle parking. In my view the other guy should have checked behind him at least. He admitted full responsibility at the time and said he just didnt see him. (Hes a doctor in a 4x4 BMW and mines a low car). I have 2 witnesses to say hes at fault but his insurance company are basically saying 'bad luck'.
Well...bad luck if he'd backed over a kid eh?
I've checked our road code and can't see anything to cover it. The U-turn is ok but cant find anything about crossing the road to angle park.
The damage cost more than my car so its not a happy day in Madagascaaaaaaar.
