I am sure they know that, who doesn't? Its a matter of them thinking it won't happen to them. Like they are invinceable (sp?). They think they have built their tolerence up and they take as much as they want.

I don't think the hate is for the drug. The hate is for what the drug has done to someone. Like kill them. Paul McCartney is a known pothead (did time smuggling some into Japan on Wings tour) but still keeps going. When Elvis, Janis, Jimi, or Whitney die, we will never know what they could have done next. Can you imagine (no pun intended Lennon) what we could have heard had they lived? That's what angers me. The musical life lost. And it's not just pills or H, John Bonham did 50 shots of vodka, and then..............no more Led Zepplin
Doesn't even have to be a drug. Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Big Bopper, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Otis Redding, the voice of Lynard Skynard.................

Accidental death from misuse of prescription drugs is common in the United States. Many people make mistakes and not just celebrities.
So true, but when it is a celebrity so many feel then need to slam and belittle them

Another example, crap. His lead guitarist, Randy Rhoads, was killed when a plane crashed into the tour bus. Fucking pilot decided to buzz the tour bus with Rhoads in the plane, clipped a wing, and spiraled into a pine tree, then crashed into a garage, burst into flames..........................

If Wings, Ringo Starr's All Starr Band, and the Plastic Ono Band were any indication of what was to come, we should be grateful The Beatles stopped when they did.

Getty, what really killed the Beatles was Yoko Oh No.........
Wings/All Starr/Ono Band were not the best example of each of them.
But, when they, along with George Harrison, were The Beatles, they were pretty damn good, you'll have to agree. Moving into the '70s would have been a bitch for them. The rise of heavy metal probably would have sunk them. Because, in their time, THEY were the rebels, with their "long" hair, and "controversial" lyrics
