Life is WONDERFUL when you can go fishing everyday
Was thinking the same thing. Can't believe it didn't snap.

He must have some bruise on his belly after fighting that guy without a belt. You need to have a de-hooking tool on the boat to remove the hook safely but luckily the hook came out by itself.
I don't know if you've ever caught a shark but it's like pulling up an anvil....just dead weight. Most people will cut the line rather than bringing the shark onboard where they can do some real damage with their tails not the mention their mouth.
Recently a teenager harvested a goliath, posted it on Facebook & is now in deep kimchi. He's facing a big fine, loss of his fishing license for 10 years & probably get community service instead of jail time.
If you fish off a wreck where these guys hide, you better know the catch/release rules before hooking one up.
Great video Freddie!

I was amazed to learn that these Goliath Groupers can weigh up to 800 pounds, also I learned of their diet....in the video below you'll see one eat a shark which is pretty common. Goliath groupers eat crustaceans, other fish, octopuses, young sea turtles, sharks, and barracudas. They are known to attack divers, and have even been seen attacking large lemon sharks.
