yes, its time to upgrade the wife from the 2005 Flip Phone which she loves.

I want to buy a phone that gets great reception, minimal drops and she can check email + simple google seraches.. yup that's its - pretty simple.

I personally have a sweet phone FREE from work - so I lost touch with the continuous adds, pluses, etc on new technology.

Get the iPhone. A bunch of people will knock it, but it's the best phone. Plus, there are a bunch of things connected to it.

iPhone = simple and very capable. Very easy to set up your email and surf the web, and she'll have no trouble finding some random 'apps' that she'll love.

Yamon-Very easy answer. The Iphone4. I'm sure the 4s is amazing but I have the 4 and it has been incredible my whole time (1.5 years). I remember when my girl had the phone 3gs and I would always say I could never handle one of those and it would take forever to learn. Took me about three days to fully feel comfortable and never looked back. Iphone hands down. It's retarded to go with most other.

What approximately would the Iphone 4 run me monthly with minimal internet usgage-just a ballpark amount???

Dude get a sprint Evo shift........Microsoft based and fucking searched the web faster than my laptop. Especially if you are in 4g area (major DMA's)
