Besides the money... why do you do it?

You don't need the extra money from betting, so why do it? What other reason do you have for doing it besides the money?

Who says we don't need/want the extra money? The only reason to wager is the loot. I'm not sure what answer you're looking for. If you're doing for "the rush" or some cliché b.s. like that it's time to get another hobby. Some people do it because they're addicted but i'd like to think that addiction starts off as a quest for fast money.

People gamble because they enjoy it.

Why do (most) people play video games? There is no money in that (not counting professionals)
