Comedy/Color Today

I have ethnic blood, not going to disclose what but the many times I have laughed over jokes about people of my blood, presentation is the critical part, are over. You can't make jokes about people of other races anymore. Let me say that if you come across as insulting, don't get on my stage. But if it's truly funny, and most good comedians know where to draw the line, let's laugh together. There is alot of good comedy that pertains to our ethnicity, it can be funny and not insulting. So now if you're white, no black/Hispanic/Asian jokes, if you're black u can't act like sum geeky white guy, etc. I get it, I'm proud to say I have friends I grew up with of all races, another great thing about being a military dependent, we never understood all the racial divide as kids, we were ALL different, and didn't care. We honestly did not see color. Don't take fun out of life, it's tough enough as it is

I unlike you have always noticed color because I didn’t see much of it ! When in kindergarten though 8th grade there were 6 students that were black.in HS 9th to 12th there were 19 with student population 1400 ....Not one could dunk a basketball & The best athlete of the bunch was a soccer player Lmao No Elgin Baylor’s  in my school . My graduation class was 1971 from there it was straight to Ford motor Corp where there were more “ Brothers “ than a Tarzan movie which was a huge cultural shock for me. Over 34.2 years percentage wise I’d say just as many white folks were slugs and would stick it up your___ as black Folks ! I made a few fine acquaintance with my black coworkers to the point of helping them out if in a bind ( Fix a car, loam $, give a ride, swap a vacation weeks.etc etc etc)  We had the same dreams “ Health,Family, Home, education, Car & keepIng a god job to pay for it....Good People. There was no free lunch No Bs Affirmative action you hit the clock 6 to 2:30 And hoped for OT.If you couldn’t cut it after a 2ndor 3rd chance on the line they cut you loose. Also all employees did there best to comply with management’s directions if you couldn’t in time they’d cut you loose....White,Blacks & foreigners complied all the same...Now we have this BLM movement....1st, I’d be willing to bet most of the Black folks in the riot and looting situations have never held on to a living wage job for more than a month. 2nd Most of these protestors Would rather a free lunch than earn there daily bread...And that will not change because they believe there Owed something...I don’t thing so! At my retiree union meetings most of the black folks will agree to A compliance issue regarding police but blame this on being singled out for there color and drugs, broken families, and a broken correctional system that make them worse then they were before entering. As I sit here right now I don’t you at all black folks the same I did when I worked at Ford ! Where are all the hard working Black folks that have earned there dream with a straight back, quarts of sweat and predictable attendance ! Why are they not stepping to the plate and saying cut the sh t...burning and looting of others dreams is wrong & not the answer to there problems....I am loosing my faith in Black folk to “do the right thing“ ! I got stopped for no inspection sticker on a truck that requires no inspection Odb1 vehicle and received a summons ! I didn’t curse him, spite on him, punch him, take his gun or mase and try to use against him, even after showed him the paper cut out that MV issues you was in tatters due to sun and condensation...Nope this Black patrolman with his White backup said I could explain it to the prosecutor or judge if I choose have a nice day....And I will

Joe Pockets, you speak as if the only people looting and vandalizing are black. You need to look again, everywhere, I have seen plenty of white, Hispanics, and others, vandalizing as well, plenty. These people, regardless of color, are simply manipulating and taking advantage of the peaceful protestors, the "mob mentality." There are good and bad people of ALL races, make no mistake
