The economy will be a disaster through the end of the year and beyond. That is etched in stone. Look at airlines for instance. They're a great volatile bellweather of the economy. After 09/11 it took them over 2 years to return to profitability. After the Great Recession of 2007-2010 it wasn't until 2014 when they returned to pre 2007 numbers. Just remember that investors should be afraid when people are greedy and should be greedy when people are afraid.
