Covid: What happens when....

This is not a thread where you'll be bashed for your political views or anything else. I just want to try to get ahead of this thing and come up with possible scenarios and solutions. 

What happens when we find out China has been less than truthful? My 1st thought when China said no new cases a month ago was "oh fuck". That's like the Detroit Pistons suddenly finding their offensive groove at the end of this season, doesn't add up. I think China will be exposed for hiding how bad it was, has been and is still. I think the US gov't will be knee deep in cases and deaths on US soil when this "discovery" is made public. I think Trump and the US retaliate against China. I think that info, the horror and the battle lines will get Trump elected again.

What happens when we find out Russia has been less than truthful? This one has me stumped. Much like China, word will come out that things are much worse than reported. 

Why has no main stream news media questioned the data we put out on John Hopkins Corona Dashboard may not be quite accurate from China and Russia. I haven't heard anyone say "Can you really trust their reported numbers?" seems like they have always lied and manipulated news so why stop now? Really China has remained at 80k cases for a month? really? and Russia at 1500? cmon man...

Yeah,  Russia and China  are black boxes.   We don't know anything about their true deaths related to the Chinese Virus. 

You can bet that Trump is going to go on the offensive against China if he wins re-election.   Expect that he will require some essential services and production moved to the U.S as a means of national security.   I'm talking about defense related materials,  pharmaceutical raw materials,  and facemasks,  etc.  

Yes a great number of factory jobs indeed.

No doubt the Chinese government has been untruthful. Look at all the cases in the US already, China cannot have that little. But maybe their own government does not even know the official numbers themselves. 

Never trust the Chi-knee!

North Korea has no reported cases i believe.  

Imagine what their true numbers really are or how bad it is now. 

Our government was never going to do anything proactive about the virus anyways, so who cares if China and Russia weren’t truthful? Gawdy death tolls weren’t going to keep you, me or any other Tom, Dick or Harry from livin’ life. 

No one is allowed in or is allowed to leave so...

Say what ?? Our CDC made attempts to go to China earlier in the year to learn as much as they could about the Chinese virus.  But were kicked out.  You don't think that information could have been valuable to us ?

Linda Quick was an American epidemiologist embedded with the Chinese until July of 2019, when she learned that her position was going to be eliminated by the Trump Administration. She would have been vital in this situation. Our CDC requested to assist in LATE JANUARY, to which they were told “no.”

The Trump administration was told we weren’t ready for a pandemic, and wouldn’t you know it, we weren’t prepared. Preparedness would overcome any lack of info coming from China. Lack of respect for the scientific unknown is why we are in this mess, not lack of info from China.

Just remember kids, it's President Trump's fault only because it stopped being George Bush's. 

Trump is not the worst president in history. At least he does what he declared 

Who cares if the Chinese lied to us ?? We have almost 80k dead in this country.... and counting..

And what about Europe?  They have an incredible number of people dying there, too.

my best guess is this

we’ll be timely and rude and ruthlessly feuding

outlawing Chinese food and then Bruce Lee movies

screwing with unity , eradicating peace

with the masses of peeps speaking Mandarin in the East

Jackie Chan’ll be released

From his citizenship and put in prison quick

And just to dicck with him we’ll limit the kicks he can deliver to six it’s sick

demented , vile , we’ll pretend we invented egg rolls I’ll 

be surprised if Chinese letter tats aren’t considered illegal

as people we’ll be menial leaving evil to careen into the scenery lethal
