an asteriod will be passing big enough and close enough to the earth to be seen as a day star on October 31st. the massive metorite about the size of new york round will be coming between the moon and earth. nasa perdicting a complete fly by due to speed as it continues on to the sun . although some models show the metorite stabilizing an orbit around the earth most show a bommerang moving the object on a direct path to vaporize within sun. will be a rare occurence to see a star object in the daylight .

Everything I&#x27;ve read says that the object will be visible through a telescope only. So unless we&#x27;re working at an observatory on Halloween, we won&#x27;t ever know the asteroid passed by. But it&#x27;s still cool beans.

It will be between Aldeberan and Betelgeuse at 11:50pm CT on 10/30 but too faint to see with the naked eye.

this one wasn't the size of a 18 wheeler and was entering at a nearly 60 degree pitch when it entered the atmosphere. but the image was amazing as It exploded air on entry. the one on Halloween is approach very shallow about a 4 degree so it by all likely hood skip like a rock off our outer atmosphere. but compared to international space station this is gigantic.

it seems as if our galaxy is moving into this massive debris field, with day star sitengs near once a month occurrence from a once a century previously.
