Found this article today. This was found through some kind of audit. You may think only a million thats not much but this audit was from only 30 employees they deemed have the highest dollar transactions. The charges were found on government issued credit cards and okd by employees at the Pentagon.

The audit revealed 900 adult entertainment charges that totaled 96,576 dollars. It also revealed 4,437 casino transactions that totaled 952,258 dollars. The report issued says the department did not take appropriate action. 22 out of the 30 employees also received overpayments for reimbursed expenses.

A navy employee who spent 1417 dollars on adult entertainment was retrained and signed a letter that he would only use his card for pg13 type purposes.

Another navy employee who charged 1078 dollars on adult entertainment was a nonpunitive letter of caution and still allowed to use the card.
