The Goddamn LOOTERS. That's right, hundreds of BRAVE, CLASSY and "PEACEFUL" citizens elected to raid a 7-11 store rather than flee for their lives.
I know the deaths and injuries are far more important than anything you could possibly steal, but c'mon people! This is beyond embarrassing. Of course it couldn't be a 100% turnout "for the cause"...there has to be those rotten apples just there hoping for drama to ensue and/or violence to happen.
Early this morning there were several videos up, where these thugs were loitering outside the store after the cops came to restore order. They are TAUNTING the police and making noise to get noticed...no signs of sadness or remorse for the people (unknown that they would all be white cops) who had been shot...and definitely not trying to chase looters off. Nah, it's just a chance to get on TV on my cellphone and make the situation worse.
I am appalled by the senseless killings, and deeply saddened as a Dallas resident today. Nearly all radio stations, including my favorite sports channels were carrying live feeds and other discussion today...it was 9/11-esque. I know it's greedy and immoral and just foul to acknowledge these lowlife assholes today, but it's reality. I heard no less than 5 conversations today wherein people were not upset over loss of life in their own town...but rather that a peaceful protest was ruined, that it must've been a white shooter, XYZ...and when it was mentioned that a lot of people out there took to looting, it's like "so what". We're not a city full of saints who unfortunately got dealt with a tragedy. Truth is, a bunch of punk asses thought they could capitalize/piggyback off the losses of others...why can't THESE people take the bullets!
I'm not a religious man whatsoever; I had to be nearly dragged into a church for my Mother's funeral...but I will make an appearance this weekend. There is so much sadness around me today, there are no kids out playing, and every siren you hear you have to wait to make sure it just passes by. Fear is no way to live, and it hurts on epic levels to watch all these lives effected today.
