Question

Anybody own one of these?Bought a floor model Gen3 1000 for $100 from my local Ace Hardware Store today.  Seems to be working well.  But when I got on-line to look up the reviews, reports are mixed.Seems to be doing the job.  I just figured with negative degree forecasts coming in this weekend anything would help.  And $100 seemed like a great price when these go for for $250 plus.

The cold weather today is kicking my behind, and it is tame compared to what is coming Saturday

I hate the cold, always have, always will.

I believe I have 2 more winters in the northeast to brave. Then I will be doing the snow bird thing and heading south for a few months each year

Wow, that dude has way too much free time. LOL.

Got a fireplace here but never use it because it draws all the heat out of the far bedrooms.

EdenPURE is holding it's own. Temp has dropped to 19 degrees outside but the house interior is a comfy 67 degrees. Furnace has been off all afternoon so it's all the edenPURE in this 3 bedroom Ranch.

I have a large house, about 45 minutes south of you, so the only thing heating this place is my oil furnace.

My office, where I spend the majority of my time, is above my attached unheated garage, so it gets chilly in there as opposed to the rest of the house.

I have an electric space heater with coils. Works really well for the left side of my body, which is the nearer side to the heater. Right now my right side is so cold my fingers are threatening to fall off if I don't rotate like a rotisserie chicken.

Had plans to go out to dinner Saturday with another couple. Just asked my wife to cancel, I want no part of the outside air on Saturday night

I think the bigger issue is how much of a Kwh draw are those relative to other units.

I picked up a few ceramic heaters and we dont need to use very often but when it gets cool here they work great and they are low on Kwh usage.

were looking forward to -30 wind chill in presque isle this weekend with wind chill day time. and a balmy -30 without wind saturday night changed the antifreeze in the car to straight. at 20.00 a gallon.
