I am all in for EV Boats!!
As a lifelong boat owner (yes, my kid boat was a 14ft StarCraft) I would love to have boats EV non emissions
Driving this riveted aluminum genius in a pop-up thunderstorm makes you grow up quick
Until you bring all that electricity down to the water!! I get it, the marina does it but can you imagine the DIYer bringing 50 amps down to the water to his personal dock. HOLY F!!!
OFF TOPIC:
Think about how much Human/animal waste goes into the lake water on top of the runoff of rain and the bad septic that was put in before 30 years ago. How about even 20 years ago....man its up to you
So now if you want lakefront property at least in my state, maybe put in a septic far away and the best 40ft 5th wheel camper you can buy
Unless you're a gazillionaire then by all means tear down that camp (everyone calls it a seasonal cabin)
Imagine this, sit on your deck waterside, anywhere on the water, and read a book. Or look at your iPhone$$ and dang those quiet fishermen trolling is loud
Do you know what is Very loud and annoying? That Dang jetski that goes 60 mph, still loud old-school standup that you can do tricks like submarine
Jet ski 3-seater with reverse that goes faster than you want to wipe out on water
Or like the A hole fishing in the middle of any lake at midnight with no light!!!
So back to the thread, I would LLLLOVE EV boats. Sure, you'll always have the speedster, the Picklefork boat, the Cuddy with turboV8, the stepped hull(normal now), and hardcore cig........
Look down the bay, any bay...how many pontoon boats are there now?
Then I see the electric covered canoe(ish) going on past, you would never know if they never talked, bye bye you green rich person who I want to ask for their mustard
On my dock is now a canoe, and the dock spiders love it, my kids not so
the truth dont mean nothing unless you have the cash
