FDR was called a socialist by his contemporaries

He also spent tons of money creating programs that had little to no success.

he and his policies must have been doing something right because he was re-elected three times.

FDR probably saved this country from becoming either a Fascist or Communist dictatorship back then. there were a lot of American industrialists AND workers that thought the NAZI model in Germany was the way to go because they created so many jobs after Hitler came to power  

FDR was also the architect of the new deal and he also worked on the 2 bill of rights which was never put in place in USA due to his passing.

However this thought of mind was not put to rest because many of his advisor's who had worked on it, put it into the foundation for the Marshall plan.

In fact the make up of modern western Europe is based on those thoughts in the second bill of rights.

The Second Bill of Rights was a list of rights proposed by Franklin D. Roosevelt, the then President of the United States, during his State of the Union Address on January 11, 1944. In his address Roosevelt suggested that the nation had come to recognize, and should now implement, a second "bill of rights". Roosevelt's argument was that the "political rights" guaranteed by the constitution and the Bill of Rights had "proved inadequate to assure us equality in the pursuit of happiness." Roosevelt's remedy was to declare an "economic bill of rights" which would guarantee:

• Employment, with a living wage,
• Freedom from unfair competition and monopolies,
• Housing,
• Medical care,
• Education, and,
• Social security

That is very much the way we look at things in Europe over these last 50-60 years.

Few Americans know that FDR proposed a Second American Bill of Rights.  Even fewer know exactly what that Second Bill of Rights included.  A close look at the quality of life that Europeans enjoy and that Americans wonder why they are denied, reveals that the Marshall Plan required that European nations were required to provide many of the rights that FDR thought that Americans should enjoy.

Obama is a bigger box than Jimmy Carter. only guy in Washington weaker is Attorney General Eric Holder BUT that just shows how foolish Obama was with the overall staffing of his administration esp Homeland Security and Finance. Janet Napolitano as HS Director? YIKES!!! every damn "bail out the banks" Wall Street Weasel like Larry Summers and Tim Geithner? that's like hiring the fox to guard the chickens.

IF the Republicans run ANY candidate that isn't completely FUCK NUTS, Obama will probably lose worse than Jimmy Carter did in 1980 because his liberal base is PISSED. they thought they were voting for a 21st Century FDR and instead they got a re-run of Jimmy Carter.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, but I'll posit a guess.

The Republicans are the party of the rich.
The Dims are the party of the poor, impoverished, and downtrodden.

Which means that the Republicans expand their voter base by generating wealth and raising the standard of living of everyone.

Conversely the Dims maintain their voter base by keeping people poor and needy, something they have been doing with tremendous success since they gained Congress in 2006.

Rub your two brain cells together and realize that things started to get really bad in 2006 and the decline has accelerated since then.

Only a deluded Democrat would argue that things are better now than under Bush or that what obama inherited was worse than what Reagan assumed. Not even close actually.
