Whatever happened to good ol' fashioned fighting? Spent sum time living in the " triangle area" of NC, heated university rival area, NCST, UNC, and Duke and as a big Carolina fan have been in a "couple" brawls in bars, and even in front of the DUKE chapel after a football game with Carolina when Kelvin Bryant ran roughshod over a hapless Duke defense. Listen, I know "fighting" isn't necessarily the right thing to do but at that time it was accepted behavior, boys will be boys. There were no weapons, no one got seriously hurt, no one got arrested, and injuries you may have received, a black eye, bloody nose, a fat lip, some bruised or bleeding knuckles, were treated more like a "badge of honor." You picked yourself up, had another beer or shot of Jack with your fellow pugilist buddies, and hell sometimes if you performed admirably, you got laid, seriously. Some of those girls watching would get as wet and wild as a summer thunderstorm in Florida, and who could complain. Nowadays these young bucks, either they can't fight or just want to bust out the weapons and kill and destroy lives, no regard for life. I don't understand it. No one ever died from a bloody lip. It just seems to be a completely different mentality. And sum of these cats decide to take it out on their old ladies too, thats not new but come on now, you seen your Dad hurt your mom you'd think that boy would say to himself, ''I'm not gonna' be like that," but in most cases, the cycle continues. I think all men should go out about twice a year, get drunk, and just get in a good ol' fashioned fight, the world would probably be a much better place-
