80,000 people being evacuated , estimated 45,000 still on the road leaving Fort McMurray Northern Alberta, Canada.

Imagine the onions involved in doing the speed this race car clip shows...That's coffee. How can the driver even see where they are going?

It started last Sunday and when the winds and humidity suddenly changed  pooof! Apparently listed as being caused by human activity.

"If you're lighting a campfire to soak it, stir it, and soak it again," said Daina "If you're on an off-highway vehicle or a quad in the bush make sure the debris is cleared because it get's up to 200 degrees celsius."

"That is what causes forest fires."

Apparently from reports Highway 63 the ONLY way out of dodge is now a ONE WAY highway SOUTH!

"Nasty ...Ugly fire" continues to grow worse as winds intensify and the temperature reaches above 32 Celsius.

10,000 moved quickly NORTH and the other 78,000 ran SOUTH.

Imagine...20 minutes notice to get your behind on the bus and gone. OUT! Sorry No carry on MAM...You end up not knowing where the rest of your family or neighbours are...This is an amazing show of how community can rally and overcome adversarial situations.. People going way out of their ways to help their fellow humans...Great examples of the Human Spirit when challenged going on. Hope somebody is paying attention to this display of community strength.

Disaster fire roaring with the help of strong winds about to swallow the International airport. On its edge sits a hotel 1km away and it has just started on fire.

Military?  It would seem they would be on the game by now but, they remain two days away from helping.

UPDATING:

 Fort McMurray On Fire has grown overnight from 10,000 acres to 100,000.

this gigantic fire NOW has its own weather system. Wondering how much fallout from Fukushima sitting on all that dry boreal forest will be disturbed and fall out again over some unsuspecting community. Is anybody at Health Canada considering this multiplier effect in play over Northern Alberta Canada?!

From 3 hours ago to give LIVE perspective to how large this monster forest fire is and currently GROWING as winds continue to increase.

HEY.,Everyone be sure hug your families and loved ones when you get home tonight...Things change real faaaaaast these days. Some of the people feeling wrath from this monster had less than 20 minutes to get OUT!! Many have not had a bath or brushed their teeth for 3-4 days now still in the clothes they left with on their backs! And some still are unaware of the where aboots of their family and friends. We sincerely wonder who they missed and who's accounting for the numbers of homeless Joes out there deposited quietly in awkward hiding places humiliated and embarrassed by their failures following after the OIL CRASH?! And what about the pets., - Rover & Felix? The gold fish on the mantle?!?Staring out from their bowl at the approaching light out side the window slowly boiling...
