A non-issue for me (and probably most others) because I simply don't wager enough. My $100 bets with Heritage and BookMaker fill the need for my hobby.

But if anybody can break the Nevada stranglehold it would be NJ Governor Christie.

Don&#x27;t want it in jersey . Lines will be juiced awfully high and i&#x27;m not standing in line at a horse track with a bunch of degenerates. William Hill has awful lines to begin with so customers will get gouged ! May have to move out of state if they bring it here. Also books probably won&#x27;t let you sign up or stay at their site if they bring it. Doesn&#x27;t do anything for me. We need betting exchanges !!!!!!!!   Exchanges lead to creativity, better prices, better ingames, and way more money at the end of the day !  Full juice books are for squares and government involvement in any type of gambling means it will be 100% garbage!!!!!!!!!

thanks for posting this.though it&#x27;s not the main point of the article, i&#x27;m intrigued by the mention of "virtual" or simulated events ... is this, in essence, like betting on madden 2015 simulations?what forms does this take now, and where is it heading?

"Virtual" horse racing exists in Md. and its juiced incredibly high.

I wish they had horse racing like a casino I went to in Argentina. It had a dome on it like the old arcade (us vs. ussr) hockey game. People standing around screaming at plastic horses that move at dreadfully slow paces around the dome. Greatest degenerate gambling experience I ever had.

Problem was the computer knew which horses were bet and how much.

How many people would pay extra juice to bet legally?  Would you pay -135 on a side bet?  That would be crazy, but that is basically what the juice will be, except they will hide that fact by making you do parlays.

$780B - Come on? Where&#x27;d they get that estimate at? Whenever I need to find and equivalent to how much money that is I think about the greed of the NFL owners. They divvy up $10B a year. There&#x27;s no way in hell that 78x that is bet on sports (legally / illegally or other).I definitely agree that the states/feds are broke and will cave on this at some point. Casinos were only in Nevada &amp; NJ forever - now there nearly in every state.
