Has anyone used a VPN to bet Sports?

Hello Brethren, hope you have all been well.

So I used to live in TX, where nothing will ever be legal in my lifetime, and I was using Bovada (or some other offshore).  F@cked around and found myself in Colorado where SB became legal and everything was magical.  Now, due to family circumstances, I need to come home for awhile (several weeks of College FB).

I've looked/asked around, and heard both sides of the story that using a VPN will/won't get me access to the books/apps I am already registered with.  Hoping someone has experience or is just tech savvy enough to shoot me straight.  I've heard of BTC wallets, but just hoping to stay with the apps I already have.

 If it's not prohibited by the sportsbook and you can access the site, then go for it.

Been using VPN quite a lot myself when away from home. 

Follow up for anyone who cares:

You CANNOT.  VPN does nothing.  These sites have geo-lock technology, which instantly detects that you're running software that alters location.  Difference between legally gambling and watching TV I guess...

 Yeah even if you could get a VPN to work, I would HIGHLY doubt they would pay you out if you won. Just keep using Bovada lol :P
