Found out today my younger brother had a heart attack last night. I

t really can scare the crap out of you. I am only 46 and have been lucky I guess, considering there is a family history of heart trouble.

This really serves a wake up call to me.

even though 40&#x27;s isn&#x27;t old it&#x27;s still very important to take care of yourself especially if you have heart condition in your family history. make sure you have a physical at least once a year and take a stress test. hope your brother recovers quickly.

I was talking to a friend of mine who is a interventional cardiologist and he states they are seeing an increase in heart attacks in younger men.  He states the number one cause is of course family history but also SMOKING is a big risk factor in young men. Other risk factors include high cholesterol, uncontrolled diabetes, and high blood pressure.  I hope your bro gets better.

There are 5 risk factors for heart attacks.

1. Smoking

2. Heredity

3. Diabetes

4. High Blood Pressure

5. High Cholesterol

Anyone over 35 with any of these symptoms should be getting annual physicals and quite possibly stress echo testing.

Heart disease can be treated but the doctor needs to know there's an issue.

A friend of mine just dropped dead about a month ago of a sudden fatal heart-attack. Healthy guy too, just drank alot of Monster. Scary shit fellas

Suggestion...Netflix and an exercise bicycle... I placed my exercise bike 7 feet behind my wife&#x27;s large screen computer monitor (does not interfere with her use of her computer) and try to ride my exercise bicycle 20 minutes twice a day while watching Netflix. Also watch https://watchseries.eu/ With diet modification I have lost weight. Doctor and Wifey happy. Watching the TV shows takes my mind off the exercise bike.

Sorry to hear about your brother.One of my best friends wife died of a heart attack at age forty.  Two little girls ages 2 &amp; 3 it still sucks to think about it.
