Golf was invented in Scotland .
I saw this a few years ago and felt I should embellish. Gives me a chuckle for years now so .
Two Scots men thinking about a new game.
Setting pub with two glasses.of whisky to redheaded men discussing a new game.
We ought to thunk up a new game to play.
What you av in mind laddy says the baron.
Well we should put a ball in a hole.
We already av bellyards.
Nono a ole a ways away.
So like croquettes.
No like four undred yards away.
So we threw the ball?
No we hit it with a stick.
So like cricket?
Mono we it de ball on the ground and we hit it. And keep on ittin' till we get er in the ole. (Mind you this is two drunk Scots talking)

Ow are we to see a ole the size of a tea cup a quatermile away?
We put a banner there call it a flag.
So after where's the challenge ?
We can put trees fro. The low.and and some sand from the beach and some water from the loq. To keep the hole a challenge.
K one ole 400 yards away hit a ball with a stick?
Nono no we have 18, holes on our best pasture land they will come from miles pay is million s for member ship.
Okay.... Let's turn 100 acres of our best pastures into this golf course.
