@ Mikniks, calling what I have said in my thread "garbage," actually strengthens my comments, and causes me to question your sincerity when you said that you wanted there to be a God. And if what I have said in my thread truly is "garbage," you should have no problem picking out the things that I have said and prove that they are wrong.
The things this guy says just proves he is definitely not sincere when he says "he wants there to be a God".
I don't know if you read my post the other day but I noted a lot of things he said in his previous posts and I concluded that he sure doesn't look like a guy who is seeking and wants there to be a God.
If I were you I wouldn't waste too much time on this guy...maybe a scolding here or a scolding there is sufficient enough...lol
Anyway thanks so much for your contributions on this thread.

SJD - you are misinterpreting the meaning of the sentence "I want there to be a god." All it means is that it would be awesome if a god existed. That's it. Don't look too much into it. Of course he wishes a god existed. If god said to me right now "hey buddy" I'd believe too. But unfortunately, he doesn't. That doesn't make the idea of god any less desirable.
And finally - if you cannot admit the POSSIBILITY that a god doesn't exist (Ex: I admit to you the .000000001% chance that god does exist, so at least I acknowledge it as a possibility), then you are without a doubt the most unintelligent human on the planet. I have never met anyone or heard of anyone in my life that can say with 100% certainty that that god exists. That UNDOUBTEDLY is your claim if you cannot admit the possibility that god does not exist. Even Rostos admits it's a possibility, regardless of whether he believes it or not.
In conclusion: the only way anyone can rule out the possibility of god not existing is with 100% indisputable proof that god exists. If you don't have that, you are a moron.

And Rostos - there could have been an infinite number of big bangs before the one that created this universe. Obviously you know that given an infinite number of big bangs, the odds of one creating at least 1 planet with life is 100%.
I know we can't prove other big bangs have occurred besides this one, but it's very much a possibility.

Ricky Gervais said it best for me. I'm paraphrasing here, but he basically said that the universe and life on earth developing by accident makes it even more beautiful.
Again, this doesn't sound like a guy wanting there to be a God...lol
When you find yourself in hell someday...don't be mad at God...because it was your choice to be there.

These are all theories....I only thought you believe in things which have empricial evidence?
Different rules for different people?

Because you are too funny how can I take you seriously?...lol
How did you derive at that .000000001% chance of probability?...lol

Truthfully, with your lack of intelligence and incredible lack for critical thinking, I'm shocked you even figured out how to use the internet. Just because I want a god to exist, doesn't mean I'm going to be stupid and believe in absolute nonsense.
Maybe you should stop judging me because MAYBE god will send you to hell for not questioning everything and for not attempting to use your brain.
But you know how god will judge right? Oh ok... You know squat...

There is a thread out there that has been around for almost a year...do you go there to beg them to let their thread die?
There are also a few others that have been around for a while also longer than this thread...do you go there too to beg them to let their thread die?
If no, why do you come here to tell us to stop this thread when this thread has only been going for little over 3 months?
Rostos and I and a few others are defending the Christian faith...why do you object for us to do that?
C'mon tell us what is really irking you?...you have the floor.
I commend Rostos and yourself for defending Christianity.
However in the case of this particular thread where the motive of the OP is clearly to mock Christianity, I question whether you might not be better served to pick your battles and save your energy for future threads addressing similar subject matter rather than giving the ASW who started this thread the attention that he so dearly craves.

I have already found my faith and I understand you are still seeking yours. But just don't tell us you want there to be a God and then you carry on saying things that make you contradict yourself...that's all what I'm saying.
Again I'm not judging, just stating what the Holy Bible tells us if one dies before accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior.

Proof that SJD simply cannot comprehend words.

Clearly you're still having trouble with what I'm saying, so I'll say it this way:
I want Santa Claus to exist, but just because I want him to exist doesn't mean I'm going to have faith that he exists when it is so unlikely.

So, once again, I will say to read what I have written in my thread, because yes, I have shown the existence for God... many times, many different ways... Jesus was a man, yes, but He also claimed to be more than that. And I explain it in full detail. And so, again, until somebody goes into my thread and shows me where I am wrong, then the existence of God, Jesus, etc. is true and credible.
The existence for God has been shown numerous times throughout history, by so many different people in so many different ways. But a lot of people choose to look the other way.
Sorry I keep saying to read my thread, because I know how annoying that must sound, but I keep saying that I have shown this and that, and nobody has shown me otherwise that I am wrong. Sort of like Jesus' miracles he performed, which I go into much detail showing how his miracles really did happen; because the Bible was written when Jesus' enemies were still living... ergo, Jesus' enemies has pleeeenty of time to prove the Bible wrong, if it was wrong.
Theories, such as the computer simulation, have been thought of and claimed throughout history. And many more will be thought up as well. That's the thing; people keep coming up with different reasons for different things in life, etc. But the Word of God has, is, and forever will be the same. It will never change.
Thanks for your time

Ohhh Jesus claimed to be more than a man?? Why didn't you just say so?? And it also says it in a book? Well now I'm sold...
Ex, do you take everything in the bible to be gods word and take it all literally? I mean, it is the word of god so it would be perfect right?

I guess by definition because obviously I can't say I know for certain that any one theory is right...but as I've said, I give the god theory an extremely small chance of being the correct one.
