I&#x27;m one of the few people that still wears hard lenses.  Used to sleep in them a few times a month but never had any problems.   I know lots of people who keep their disposables in for way longer than they should.  I prefer taking mine out and cleaning every night... a few minutes a day is not that much of an inconvenience.

[/Quote]I&#x27;ve been wearing hard lenses for 20&#x2B; years.   I don&#x27;t even notice them, and are easy to pop out if need be.   I got a metal sliver in my eye once and had to wear a soft lens that acted as a bandage and I swear I did more damage to my eye trying to get that damn thing out every night.   I just got a new pair of my Wave lenses earlier this month, a pair runs about $350 and lasts me 2 years.

$350 for two years...&#xD;&#xA;Not like I couldn&#x27;t make that gambling but that&#x27;s pretty steep...and if I lose them which is very possible...&#xD;&#xA;I thought hard lenses were going the way of the Dodo. Surprised they still exist...

[/Quote]I always keep my previous pair for backup because I have lost one down the drain before, and even if I could have recovered it, I&#x27;m pretty sure I wouldn&#x27;t want to put it back in my eye.

I&#x27;m in my 40&#x27;s and still have 20/20 vision.I guess that means growing up I either ate a lot of carrots or I didn&#x27;t do enough jerking.

When I was in 4th grade, the school nurse told me I was getting glasses. I said, "the fukk I am". She took about five steps back and said, "excuse me???" I served a week suspension. Over forty years later and my vision is 20/30. Still never wearing glasses. Still a Yankee Rebel.
