Earlier in the year the country's largest internet company Eircom , formed an informal gentleman's agreement with the major record companies to cut off customers' internet service if they were caught downloading in a '3 strikes rule' where your internet would be cut off for a year on the third strike.Eircom are now reviewing their position in regard to this matter.
