I don’t believe in any god or creator. I don’t believe we have free will, and karma is a myth too. That said, I do believe in integrity. I believe in character. I believe in the importance of doing the right thing.
When I was with 5 Dimes a few years ago, they gave me the heads up that they had to cease doing business with US customers soon. They could have said nothing and just kept my money, but they didn’t. They did the right thing.
I’ve been with Bookmaker now for several years. Five to seven is my best guess. In June of last year I believe I had to complete a few quick and easy steps due to my account being inactive for a while.
My experience with Bookmaker has been nothing other than first rate. Their customer service is top notch. I recently had a problem with a payment and they fixed it promptly.
Many times in the past—I’m 55–I have had conversations with different people and I would get the impression, from time to time, that the person I was speaking with would have a general sense of mistrust in regards to gamblers or anyone associated with it in any way. One individual I worked with actually insinuated that it could have been me when some money came up missing, citing the fact that I like to gamble. I told him to be careful when opening his mouth. I’ve never stolen anything in my life aside from a few candy bars when I was a stupid kid.
Some of my best friends are gamblers and I would literally trust them with my life without the slightest hesitation whatsoever.
It makes me happy that others in the gambling community believe in doing the right thing. The people at 5 Dimes and Bookmaker are good people as far as I can tell. I know that some people are not trustworthy, but that can be said about any profession.
In this f*cked up world, integrity and character mean a lot.
I’ve made mistakes over the years and done things I’m ashamed of doing. As I got older, I realized how important integrity is. I put it right up there at the top of list. Money, image, material possessions… it’s all garbage in comparison.

I can go along with 99% of what you’re saying SteelCash. Apparently you never dealt with Tony at 5Dimes because that prick had ZERO integrity and, believe me, KARMA got him good.

What’s up Goose. Hope all is well. Funny you mention Tony. I’ve heard horror stories and he is the reason that I thought about it him and that is why I added that “I know that some people are not trustworthy”. You mentioned karma… What happened to him?

You know you are a degen if Tony knew who you were. He was always fair with me. I never took a shot or did anything sketchy tho. If you tried to get an easy win a blatantly incorrect/ expired line he would crucify you and all your funds in the acct would be in purgatory.

I was playing Caribbean Stud on 5 Dimes casino and caught a A-2-3-4-5 of Spades and was awarded 10% of the jackpot which was slightly over $10K. Was too excited to sleep so I processed a withdrawal request of $8K.
Called the next day to check on the withdrawal and was transferred to Tony. Got a lot of trash talk about how he had to substantiate the Straight Flush, blah, blah, blah.
Long story short he jerked me along for about 7 weeks before I got paid. The $8K meant nothing to Tony. He was just being an azzhole.

Took over 3 months to get 12k from them ,it was one thing after another,, had to send a letter from my bank which I just copied the letterhead on a word doc and wrote it myself.
