Just Booked Vegas. Westgate SuperBowl Sunday

Gonna be in the city of sin 2/1/17 - 2/7/17!!!

CANT WAIT TO BET 5000 ON THE SUPERBOWL, THIS TIME, NOT WITH CARMINE ON BLEEKER STREET!!

Staying @ The WestGate. Booked on Expedia, Airfare + Hotel, = $600 a person taxes and resorts fees included! How could you go wrong?

Now time to find where to play some golf! Anyone going to be there?

Cool man. I wanted to play some NL holdem while I am there. Some cash and a nice sized tourney would be cool. I am going to check the schedules now. Good luck as well!

Las Vegas Country Club literally across the street from The Superbook. They should be able to hook you up with a comped round.

Caution: they don't take cash out on the course if you want something to drink, only plastic!

I love the Country Club. Played a few tournaments there. Hawk, seeing as it's a private course are you sure the Super Book can get people on there?

That's the only way I got on there. Very nice. This happened during the Hilton/LVH days, not sure what Westgate can do.

To be clear, it's not like you can place a bet and ask for a comped round at The Book.

You have to tell the management that you golf, and would love to play there. Might try and hit up the VIP office just to the left of Registration when you check in.

As always, get a players card, and make sure they keep track of everything! If you can't get a comped round at check-in. Spread some cash, let them track you, and try again two days later......

Nice place, photos of the Rat Pack (black and white) playing there......

I will be at the Westgate for SB.

Not a golfer - but I can tell you that the WG gives 1 dollar in comps for every 220 bet.  It adds up quickly.

But what can you spend it on?  Sh*tty overpriced restaurants, sh*itty rooms with 30 dollar resort fees - I honestly don't know what to do with my comps there.  They just keep adding up.

Used to go to Vegas every year for Super Bowl.

We moved from AZ to Texas so we cant go.

Loved seeing shows and all the sports hype around Vegas

for the Super Bowl.

Saw Drew Carey and his friends a couple times.

Used to love it when they had SB watching parties where you could

go and eat food and watch on a big screen. NFL screwed that!

Have fun and take the PATS -3 !

They don't have these anymore? I went to one in 09. It was a blast but I said I would never do it again as it was too crowded. Barely was able to make a second half bet.

Why did they get rid of them?

NFL threatened to take legal action on anybody charging to watch the game on a huge TV screen.

They didnt get rid of them.  Every hotel has their own SB party.

Dont know what that other poster is referring to.  I have been out to LV for the last 3 SBs.  And going this year.

I lived there for 25 years- The place sucks, and nobody who lives there goes downtown or to the strip, ever- It's like Disney World, only dumb kids  and flyover state rubes go there

A fun thing to do, if Tom Brady gets MVP he thanked his wife last time first. I put $200 down on the MVP of the superbowl thanking his family first (+1200).

If you're getting a comped round, you really can't ask for clubs, too, silly. Even if they rented clubs, they'd probably charge you $100, which takes the fun out of it, don't you think?

Reread my post, and bring your own clubs......

Hoardes of retards playing slot machines..it used to be great before America got stupid..

In my day only wife's played slots, and there were only like 10 in the building.. it's like when I hear people here at covers talking about playin parlays, when the first thing you learn about gambling is to never bet parlays..

actually the book is a hell of a lot nicer now that they redid it. before last year it hadnt been remodeled since the 80s and it was in bad shape. of course the parking is still horrendous on a good day,(stay far far away when a convention is happening), the cocktail waitresses are still as old as my grandma, they dropped the odds on parlay cards, (a 3 teamer pays 5 for 1 instead of 6.5) and tightened up or eliminated other bets, but yeah overall the hilton is still a dump.
