I am willing to bet it has something to do with race, maybe the fact that the victim has a black girlfriend and some jealousy involved. Just showing that race is hardly ever mentioned when 4 black guys kill a white victim but race is immediately mentioned when a white person (even Cops) kills a black person.
Just to be clear, I use the word animal for anyone that commits horrible crimes, not using it as a reference to black people, it is a reference to criminals as is savage.

The reason for that is race is more likely a factor when white people kill black people than when black people kill white people. And that's not a slight on white people. If anything, as a black man, it's a slight on black people. Black people in this country commit homicides more often than white people. It just is what it is. It isn't a race thing. Black people aren't inherently more violent than white people, clearly history proves that, it'a a socio-economic thing. As people love to back-handedly point out on this site, black people kill ourselves more than anyone else kills us. White people are historically more likely to commit hate crimes. That doesn't mean black people don't commit hate crimes, i'm just speaking to the statistics. Now these two demographics are moving towards each other, gun involved violence is becoming more prevalent is disadvantaged white communities, hate crimes are becoming more prevalent in black communities, but the status quo is still the status quo. This is why people don't immediately scream "hate crime" when black people kill white people. It's because one has to ask, "Ok, was this a robbery attempt? Was it just some stupid hoof sh!t Did the kid step on somebody's Jordans?"
This may end up being a hate crime. We won't know until he hear more facts but the reason that people aren't immediately screaming it isn't simply that society things whites are more likely to commit hate crimes (society does think this because it's true), it's that society thinks young black men are more likely to kill for any number of other reasons. (sadly, this is also true)
