It's a growing list of huge data breaches by well protected firms. Yahoo, sony, facebook, hotmail, Collins Powells email servor, somewhere in governments capabilities there must be a way to find what out side servor accessed these systems.
I really do not believe Russia is involved in all of this, something much bigger and more sophisticated is at work. We cant.pin this on some adhd kid sitting in theirs basement could possibly read 1 million accounts such info is beyond the capabilities of any 1 million men taking one day per account take three years to aquire 1 billion accounts, the fact such quantities accessed without notice leads myself to believe a huge self aware super computer is at work and that narrows it down to a computer in Salt Lake city Snowden was working on before the flight to china. He stated that the government was trying to access all data and personal relationship clouds when he went rogue whistle blower. Hence he stopped at being who couldn't secure him thus Moscow became the plan b.

I absolutely refuse to believe the Russians would have a thing to do with this. I'm usually 95% wrong on most things but I'll hold steady on this one. Under Obama possibly yes.
