Your perception of reality sounds all fine and great, but unfortunately, that's not the way things actually happen. Lia Thomas was the 34th best male swimmer in the country in HIS events. HE woke up one day, decided HE wanted to be the #1 swimmer in HIS events, realized the easiest way to get there was competing against women, and immediately got a spot on the Penn women's swim team. There was no difficult transition. HE didn't spend years under doctor's care, receiving "gender affirming" healthcare. In fact, I doubt that any medical doctor diagnosed HIM with gender dysphoria. HE didn't do anything, other than say HE felt pretty. HE still has his junk. HE still has all the testosterone that God blessed HIM with. HE still has a lung capacity that is 40% larger than women. Regardless of what HE or anyone says, HE'S still a MAN.

People born male or female have advantages. Miss universe contest rules require completion of sexual reassignment surgery before transgender competitors can qualify. Olympics rules require transgender athletes to complete years of transition and acceptable hormonal levels. Accepting transgender people is a step toward more equality in civil rights and less discrimination in society.

After a great show, Rikkie was elected Miss Netherlands 2023. This outcome was determined by a 7-member jury with all disciplines from the profession, consisting of William Rutten, Edsilia Rombley, Bart Ettekoven, Marvy Rieder, Awura Abena Simpe, Julia Sinning and jury chairman Monica van Ee (director of Miss Netherlands and main sponsor hannah). They see Rikkie as the most worthy successor to Miss 2022 Ona Moody. The jury report reads: “ Rikkie has beamed throughout the show and has also made the greatest progress in the process. She has a strong story with a clear mission. The jury is convinced that the organization will enjoy working with this young woman.”
