To catch up to me in the end. I got my bankroll up to 3500 after tonight from 500 I deposited about a week and a half ago... But I have been so up and down I know It won't last if I keep it up? Any strategies/help would be appreciated

Well first of all, I don't you should overvalue certain plays no matter how much you like them. The books are counting on bettors to increase their wagers with the more money they win. It's the quickest way to go broke and give it all back.
You've turned $500 into $3500 which is great. But you did it in a week and half which leads me to believe that you made some very risky bets along the way.
You're at good starting point with a nice healthy bankroll. Step back and evaluate. The most you should be wagering per game is probably $100 and even that might be pushing it a bit. Stick with a fixed amount and never deviate from that. At least not until you've built your bankroll up a bit more... if you can.

Not until you build bankroll---do not bet 100 or 200. If you are going to play a play and are sure of it then play it; if not---skip it. Do not play a play for double.

I get what you are saying, but there are some plays that you feel good enough to bet on... And some that you REALLY feel good enough to bet on. Are you saying you always bet the same amount, no matter how confident you are in your bet? And if so, how big of a bank roll till you start doing this?

Okay, so do you guys think that if I have 3500 in right now. Betting, 75$ per bet on normal plays and then 150$ on my extremely confident plays is a good way to go?

as far as the wiseguys and sharpies have done it for decades in Veags and other big cities
they stick with 2 - 3 % for ever of bank to bet for the day not per game
That is if YOU start with $500 2% is $10 per day 3% is $15 per day
max high % is 5% $25 per day but you can increase your %but never double up your amount.
That is say you go on a hot win streak any sport
after 5 wins you up your % from 3% to 4% of that new balance
say $500 is now $600 4X 600 = $24 per day and up up the % as long as you keep winning once you lose cut it back to low % of 3 or 4 this keeps you ahead of the man always.
Also your gambling bank roll is only for betting period. it's kept seperate from your earned money once you blow it away for that year your done for that year.
chalk up as a loss and start next year or next sports season
been there too many times and wish i never dipped into my earnings to bet with I kept losing and suffered through few months paying bills.

No.
I'm curious as to how you plan on separating those "normal plays" vs. those "extremely confident plays"?! That gut instinct of yours can only take you so far.
The bottom line is this. We can tell you our strategies over and over but the truth is you probably won't listen. I can tell that this winning streak of yours has already got it's claws into you.
You won't be satisfied making small wagers and slowly building your bankroll up because it all came to fast. You'll get bored and start pissing your money away. It's not your fault. It's what the books want you to do.
Hopefully you'll learn one day.

No, I am willing to learn now, about a year ago If you wanna believe me, I built my bankroll up to over 14k from 500, cashed out 1500 of it and then lost 12k of it. Just decided to get back into it and know i need to get bet.ter control of my cash. That is why im asking you guys now. But everyone on here seems to be betting 1 unit aka 100$ per bet thats why I keep thinking that is the way that most do it...

And when I was on that run I was betting mostly 1k at least so in my head, 75$ seems very small. But I am willing to go even lighter since that is what you guys seem to all agree is the better way to go.

Bet 2% of your bankroll on your games and never bet more than 10% of your roll in a day. If you follow this method, you have a 98% chance of never going broke.

I'll tell you this right now. You're going to get very bored very quickly. You need to prepare yourself for that and no matter what, stay committed to your plan/goal.
There will be days where it doesn't seem like you're making and progress at all. Ignore that. There will be days where you wish you'd bet more. Ignore that. There will be days where you question if this is even worth your time. Ignore that.

@chris. I know what you mean, just today I was betting just 100 per bet and i was already getting a little bored... But I am going to stick to my guns and from here on go for only betting 2% rule. I know it will be tough, and keep it comong with the input guys. All very helpful.

and it's been done for decades and it works believe me it works
no chase system or any other type of chase system will make you more money than the real way
using small figure for those of you who do not have 1000$'s to deposit in an account
lets go with $300 i see that as norm
you start with 3% of that bank FOR the Day to be wagered NOT per game YOUR daily wager is $9 risked to win $8.10 on a normal 10% juiced line as in foots
so now as your bank increases your daily wager is increased. Say after 5 weeks you are now at $450 you can risk $13.50 per day
holding that 3% figure or increase it like you take off on a hot streak
in daily sport like bases up to 5% or even 10% but once you hit the skids bam back down to %5 now so your staying ahead of the books forever YES it gets boring but think long term 5 years down the road you will be way ahead of 75% of all other gamblers plus if you mange to NOT touch that bank after 5 years your now a sharp with 10's of thousands of $$$$$$$
