Peter Criss had a great feel that the other drummers didn&#x27;t have...he had that swing that made hard rock sound more like rock and roll. I love his drumming. OK, Criss wasn&#x27;t a technically great drummer, and he wasn&#x27;t even very imaginative really. But his FEEL... it was perfect. He was awesome in his early years. Listen to his solo on Alive. He played like he meant it, and that absolutely lifted the music up and matched with his singing, the Catman had "soul" ! His style helped to make the classic Kiss sound. Underrated: Yes!

Scott Rockenfield of Queensryche.......... saw them about 15 years ago & was duly impressed by him. I don't know if he's underrated or not, but I thought the guy was damn good & wasn't a name I heard bandied about much.

Can&#x27;t say he&#x27;s under rated but Max Weinberg of the E Street Band is really amazing. I&#x27;ve been to countless concerts and never seen him screw up once!

We lost Neil Peart on Jan 7th...IMO, the greatest Drummer to ever live. Probably seen Rush a dozen times or more in the past 35+ years...No better Live drummer, as I loved Neil's extended solo's during their concerts....He will be greatly missed , but his music & legacy will live on. new_praise an_angel

Will spend the night listening to Moving Pictures for sure.
