This new Championship chase format was created by people smarter than us.  It&#x27;s evoking emotions in drivers like never before.  Keselowski is only driving hard; like Earnhardt, Sr. did in his prime, and catching crap for it.  On an NFL day, the post race fights are carving out time on SportsCenter.  Epic!

That was awesome and I&#x27;m not even choosing sides in this one.I agree, from the time that he sent Edwards into the fence at Talledega to get his first win, BK has always raced like Dale Sr..Can&#x27;t wait for Phoenix. We have the #24 and #4 fed up with the #2, the #11 car still owes the #22, and the #4 has vowed to take out the #20.

Not hooked on any driver and could care less who wins this chase. Lets face the facts here; nascar was a dying sport before this new format revivelised and reenergized the fan base. Now, Brad races hard and isn't that what racing is all about. Gordon left a gap and Brad went for it. That's racing,period! Gordon has done exactly that and more to other drivers and nothing is said. No driver should just hand Gordon the win and not fight for it. Lot at stake here. Now as far as the fight goes; are you serious. The pit crews threw more punches than the drivers. Gordon had his hands open and scratching with his nails. Harvick pushes Brad from behind and then runs away like a vagina. Boo hoo. These same drivers who have a problem with Brad are the same who had a hard on for KYLE Busch because he would win racing hard. I'm not sticking up Brad but some of these drivers need to grow some balls. Race hard or change careers. Nothing comes easy.

There is NO WAY that NASCAR would script the #31 car into the Championship round over the #24.   The fact that Ryan Newman could be your 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion despite the fact that through 35 races the best finish that he could manage was 3rd, is laughable.  I don&#x27;t like the "Chase" format because it takes away from the integrity of the championship, but as far as being good for ratings, I guess it serves it&#x27;s purpose. Aside from  Ryan Newman of all people sending someone into the wall on the last lap in order to advance, the overall racing has been much less than thrilling this year. I guess NASCAR has to resort to a gimmick point system to overcome the complete lack of compelling competition on the track. In truth, ever since the Car Of Tomorrow was introduced, racing has suffered. when Bristol and Richmond produce chronically boring races and the 1.5 mile tracks consistently have races with several second intervals between positions it is not a good thing for the sport. If the Generation 7 car isn&#x27;t more competitive next year, I will tune out completely.

[/Quote]Not to mention, you can pretty much count on one hand the number of drivers who have a chance to win each week....unless it is due to a fluke, wreck, or luck. That sucks.
