Anybody have any strong future opinions? Each year i typically pick a few teams for college & pro. Thoughts on these:
-Minnesota 10/1-missed out on 16/1 as had to open online account & money didn’t clear until recently. Leaning 3k on minny as i think they are a very solid overall team.
-Rams 14/1-would think they make the playoffs & like the defensive additions in the secondary.
-Pittsburgh 12/1-i dont think the afc is that good & if Pitt is a 1 seed, home field could be the difference.
-LA Chargers 25/1-home schedule not that bad, some tough roadies but could see them with no more than 4-6 losses. Great oline, good O, strong D. But could they win in playoffs at NE or Pitt??
-NE 6/1-this team has been a staple 5k wager the last two years for me. 2 years ago had them 7/1 (cashed), last year 4/1 (hedged w phili +170 in superbowl). Look 6/1 is terrible value but come January in the playoffs you wont get 6/1, lucky if you get 3/1. And can always hedge come playoffs as NE is always a favorite in playoffs.
College Leans
-MSU & Texas, both 40/1

young1... Brady is a QB everybody loves to hate and that's all he does is always kicks azz. I never could understand the logic behind that fact. But my question to you is... I have never played Sports Futures because why would you want to tie up money for such an extended period of time? If you invest in the Stock Market at least you can buy the dips and sell the tips to take profit from time to time. Does that not make sense?

i understand not wanting to tie up money but if investing the right way with the right value (personally i think the best value is now with most of the teams above as i think if they start fast odds will drop & wont be in your favor, & of course they all could start 0-5 & there goes my value logic but!). If minny & ne make playoffs your not getting close to those odds especially if they are 1 or 2 seeds, which they very will could be. I never like tying up money but if you see value & think they could be there in the end it’s worth it. Then the hedge comes into play.
I had Ne the last two years & georgia this past year & granted it was money tied up but i was able to hedge successfully for almost a 10k profit on each game.

Hedging is something I never deal with but with betting futures I can now see your reasoning. Congrats on your winnings and thanks for the explanation.
