Shelton, CT - Police in Shelton said two people turned themselves in on an active arrest warrant for growing marijuana.
Police said 32-year-old William Frascatore
and his wife, 30-year-old Julie Frascatore, both of Quaker Ridge Road in
Shelton, turned themselves in on Tuesday.
An investigation began in May when the
officer went to the home to investigate a house alarm. The officer
located an unsecured door and entered the home. While checking the home,
the officer said there was a strong odor of marijuana and then found a
large quantity of it.
Police said they then served a search warrant
on the home and recovered nearly 4 lbs. of marijuana in various stages
of growth, along with various items used for a marijuana growing
operation.
William Frascatore was charged with
cultivation of marijuana, operating a drug factory, possession of
marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana more than 4 oz.,
possession of drug paraphernalia and risk of injury to a minor.
He was released on $25,000 bond.
Julie Frascatore was charged with risk of injury to a minor and was released on a written promise to appear in court.
Both were scheduled to appear in court on July 11.

Yes that constitutes intent to sell. Having bag, scales, and/or weed in individual bags constitutes intent to sell. You can have 2 grams on your person and get "intent to sell" if the grams are in seperate bags.

I was watching "Alaska State Troopers" last night. They had a guy pulled over and found a small amount of pot in a baggie. Then he had a bunch of other clean plastic baggies in the bottom of his duffle bag. They were trying to get him for intent to sell just because he had other baggies.
