I've been reading articles back to 2014 about the possiblility of wwe being sold. Do you guys think it will ever happen?
I can understand the ufc sale. Take the last big fight with Lesnar and Hunt. You had Brock Lesnar ranked third in the heavyweight rankings and he hadn't fought in five years. Can you imagine a high school or college wrestler who hadn't wrestled in five years going into a state tournament or a national championship style tournament being ranked third? Then after one win, against a guy that is 3-4-1 his last eight fights. They had that 42 year old guy ranked 10th in the rankings. The depth at heavyweight in the sport just isn't there. They were already talking about him being in a championship match. To me that would be like having Jake Roberts come back on raw this week have ranked third in the rankings. Then having him ddt Dolph Ziggler and winning that. I don't think you would hear JBl say well after that win Jake looks ready for a title shot.
Stephanie has done a decent job they should of kept punk and Barrett though. They signed some good indi talent in Ambrose and AJ Styles. Styles is pretty banged up from his indi days though. It hurts they don't have a company on national tv to compete against them. Vince likes money and went as far as to writed a storyline about wrestling god. My question is will he ever sell the company or keep it in the family?
