The most telling aspect of this article, is that it will largely go unnoticed.

When Cheney was seen to be backing Haliburton or Bush the oil giants, mainstream media ran stories of corruption. Maybe it is just me, but with Obama it seems they aren't yet willing to run stories to harm his popularity. I guess his charm has won them over for now.
