I am watching a local news rerun from the 10pm. I by far am not a gun nut to where give a darn enough to argue the fact trying trying to ban assault rifles will stop nothing. But the media is flooded with coverage of the officials that have "the problem solved" by saying it's a no no to own assault rifles. People in herds support whatever message our elected officials tell us. Funny thing is people still are gullible to let's say pot. I wish there was an actual way to prevent the millions of dollars the the pharmaceutical put in the pockets of our elected officials under table. Of course the same officials that vote in favor of an unknown new lab drug that ends up killing 25,000 people that went to the doctor for a runny nose. Those same officials that you hear slandering pot and voting it down because they blame crime and basically everything starts with pot smoking which is about most ignorant statement one can make. My point is, people on heavy drugs are on them for their own escape from mental reality. I love pot more than anything. I am not in denial about anything I do and I analyze myself and what drives me to take advantage of opportunities that squares seem unimaginable and way too risky. I have gone places and done things just to say I did. Some good, some bad. But my overall theme is not to live your life for "The Man" and be honest with what truly makes me happy. Regardless of what others opinions who don't have the nuts or know-how to do what I do. Overall my point is if weed is not step one to smoking crack and shooting heroin in your taint as the "war on drugs" bases their budgets and campaigns on.
Facts are that the ones who want to escape reality so bad, they resort to extremes the average Joe can't comprehend so he buys the story that has been sold since the 4th grade when McGruff the crime dog said along with just say no. And to the ones who have fallen into the spun out lives of hardcore junkies know that weed does not classify as a drug even though it is no secret if you are hanging out with someone high on some stuff...will always take a hit of the blunt and never blame their desire for smack on the reefer! LOL so easy scare tactic to justify the funds brought in to hit budgets and justify gross spending. Why do people still argue pot dangers and believe the diversions like all this gun crap when the real problem is, George Carlin was right when he said our country is "not the freedom of choice" country that our forefathers intended. Thanks to the corporate agendas and lobbyists and interest group modern day corruption. Our country has the "illusion of choice"
Well I have to blame drugs and pot for me rambling this out when I really just wanted to share this local news link that I saw where they busted the cop on parking lot cams with him leaving for his shift with the black shotgun on the roof. Just was thinking how has this idiot in Arkansas not making CNN on "redneck officer in Arkansas is not helping our efforts of getting guns off the streets! Ha ha

Good stuff Salty. It's amazing to me that some can't understand that it's not a crime to drink a beer and it's also not a crime to put ANYTHING in your body. In fact it's a crime to jail someone that puts something in his body. The fact is, most of America wants the Herb legalized and I wonder how long before it is nationwide. I think it's on the horizon myself. I visit Norml's website regularly and almost every time I do, there's another state taking steps to do so. And once the other states see the results that CO and WA experience, it'll be like an avalanche with other states jumping on board.
