do u need $5 that bad? Is it worth meeting a complete stranger to do this?

Adam Corolla used to do a skit on his radio show where he called these sellers up and they were complete oddballs.

Some people are lonely and this maybe their only meaningful interaction of the day but then there's always the hilarious "missed connections" section, I see people looking for me everyday on there. new_laughing1

I read an article last year, about a guy who quit school and started selling shite online. He was buying a wide range of items on sale at big box retailers then reselling the stuff online. His sales were in the tens of millions.

The worst are people at self service betting terminals with $5 and taking 45 minutes to put in 20 team parlays. Sire you can win more than the 5 but c&#x27;mon what a waste of time.

Worked at a bar almost 10 years ago with a couple that was struggling trying to sell stuff online ....Once they started buying stuff from whole foods and BJ&#x27;S thhey were rolling in the dough  ...They are currently closing on their 2nd warehouse here in WNY ..o

I&#x27;ve bought/sold some stereo gear on CL. It can be lucrative. But yeah, listing stuff for $5 is a bit desperate.  I know a guy that refurbishes appliances. He gets some stuff on CL that people have listed for free, fixes it &amp; sells it.
