President Obama said in an interview on Thursday that he’s sorry a number of Americans are being forced to change their health care plans despite previous assurances the Affordable Care Act would allow them to keep their existing plans.
"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," Obama told Chuck Todd during an interview with NBC News at the White House.
"We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this."
Obama’s admission represents the latest evolution on the issue dating back to before the Affordable Care Act was even signed into law in 2010. Up through September of this year, Obama was adamant that the Affordable Care Act would not impact Americans who already had their own health insurance.

Has anyone that had no insurance before ACA was initiated actually gotten insurance since? If so, how many? Contrast that with the number that have lost their previous plans- If we could get an honest tally- I would bet that fewer are insured since ACA began than were before..... It may be just a bump in the road according to its defenders- a pretty big bump to the guy who had his own before and now has none-

Check out the "bronze" plan.... Then we can discuss sh!tty plans.....
When I say sh-tty plans, I mean 2 things:
1) Where there is no limit how much you have to pay in a year (AKA Out Of Pocket Maximum). You may have to pay 30% and a bill can easily be 500,000. All of the ACA plans, the most you have to pay in a single year is 15K (plus your premiums.)
2) They consider many different services "Not Covered" that most plans would cover. ACA makes all the plans cover a set of services.

Doesn't the "A" stand for "Affordable?" So a person who can't afford health insurance is going to sign up for a plan that includes a $5,000 deductible? OK.

What was once a great working nation has turned into a total screwfest. It probably doesn't matter who the president is anymore. I think what is going on in this country is not going to end well.
