question hopefully somebody can answer regarding over the telephone local bookmakers....

hello all and thanks for reading this. Today I had made a fairly high wager on a game. I call into a bookie where I put the cash up and he gives me what I want. I put up 2000. And bet 2000 to win 1800 on the spurs over 215 IF Tennessee Titans +175 for 1800. The spurs landed on 215 and Tennessee was loosing so I had called up to bet the 2000 on the magic first half and he said I had It all pending on the titans because I didn’t specify if I wanted an IF WIN OR IF WIN OR PUSH bet so it goes down to if win or push ... is this fucking true or is this scumbag pulling my damn leg ? I’m ready to lose it right now 

 any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

You specified IF on your initial wager clearly to him. The term word isn't used loosely on a straight wager and he never heard it according to what you're saying about Magic 1st half wager He owes you. Ask him for a play back.

That's BS. I'd lay some fat wagers and then stiff him if they lose.

Don't you get a read back? I'm not placing bets without a readback and if he doesn't say IF WIN or PUSH then it is just IF WIN.
