It's gambling for a reason. We all endure bad beats but the last month is getting ridiculous. Anyone experience good ones like this? And all of these bets were upwards of 1G.
1 Georgia-Auburn - Georgia on the ML. Yes, Georgia trailed for the first three quarters, makes a huge comeback only to lose on a Hail Mary in the final minute.
2. Broncos-Patriots - Broncos on ML - Broncos build a 24-0 halftime lead only to lose in OT. What an amazing collapse.
3. Alabama-Auburn -- Don't like parlays. But had Alabama as last leg of four-teamer. We all know how this one ended.
4. Thunder-Trail Blazers - A live bet on the Thunder +6.5. Blazers lead 105-104 with 40 seconds left and the Thunder have the ball. Offensive foul, a timeout and then a 3-pointer with 29 seconds left for a 108-104 lead. A quick miss, two more Blazers FTs for 110-104 with 14 seconds left. A technical foul on Thunder coach, made free throw and they dribble it out for a 111-104 win.
5. Celtics-Grizzlies under 184. Teams are at 162 with under 3 1/2 minutes left in a double-digit game. They have no trouble combining for 32 points the rest of the way to smash the total.
I would just love to be on the other side once in a while. It's just unreal how when it goes bad, it goes bad.

That sucks dude we have all been there. Take a break or reduce your units for a week or two until the gambling gods settle down. Avoid the Nba during this time as you're bound to lose your mind with the s h i t that goes down in that league. It will turn around.

The first rule of gambling is to risk only what a person can afford to lose. Veteran gamblers should be able to tolerate losing. Money management should allow survival in long run.

Losing doesn't matter as along as profits outweigh losses in the long run. Everyone has losing streaks. Mental toughness and sufficient bankroll help in dealing with ups and downs of gambling.

Despite the best information available, anything can still happen in sports. Even the best handicappers might be wrong 40% of the time in the long run. The only people who never lose are those who never take risks. But life is full of risks.

Do yourself a favor. Keep track of the wins you luck out on. You'll find that over time, those happen with just about the same frequency. You just dismiss them more readily.

You've had some bad luck but what about the people who were on the Raptors the other night. 8pt dogs up by 27 in the 3rd quarter. 35pt cushion. In the last 17min Golden State outscored them by 36.

This might make you feel better. I was 17, had like $350 on the Nuggets moneyline +250ish. (I don't bet like that anymore, was just young and had extra money to bet) So the bet was like $350 to win like 850..Thats a lotttt of money at 17.
Nuggets up 3, with the ball..0.9 left...and then this.
Nuggets lost in overtime, with Rasheed nailing another big 3 in OT..still hurts to this day.

I had GS that day.
But then I also had the Bills on Sunday when they fumbled on the last minute drive, and another fumble in OT.
I also had Bears when they decided to kick a FG on 2nd down

I could see guys that had the raptors over golden state making additonal bet such as live in play wagers on other games thinking that the raptors game was in the bag, and losing even more.
Not uncommon for some guys, myself included to occasionally take a chance on other games that weren't capped with the same time and effort, thinking that they had money rolling in on Toronto and losing even more money attempting to cash in on more bets

There is a lot of truth in that Hutch. People are wired to feel the negatives of losses more than the positives of winning.

The specifics of the actual game eludes me as it was about 8 years back or so, but I had Ucon -2 vs Duke. Ucon trails the entire game and rallies in the final minute to take a 4 point lead. Okafor gets fouled with seconds left and goes to line for one on one and misses, Duke guard grabs the rebound and chucks a meaningless (except for me) 3/4 of the court length shot at the buzzer to end the game as a 1 point loss for Duke. That was one of my first all-time bad beats, and a painful one.
That being said though, I've been on the "right" side of some miracle-type wins too, so it usually evens out. Yesterday I had NE ML to finish a 5 team parlay. When they went down 26-14 with about 2.5 mins left, I turned off the phone thinking game was over. haha Turned phone on later to find they had come back ton win 27-26. On ESPN, they listed the probability of a NE win at that point was 2%. Pretty crazy.
