I dont&#x27; agree with the death penalty, at all.    I am sad that this man was killed for a murder that could not be pegged to 100% certainty on him.

I agree if a trial was held today their is no way he would of been found guilty,  No dna no gun no nothing 7 out of the 9 wittness changed their statement and 2 jurors said they wished they wouldnt of voted for a guilty verdict.  I dont know whether he did it or not but based on the evidence they dont have the man didnt deserve to die and its a shame he didnt get his appeal heard.  The supreme court said he got a fair trial by a group of his pears and that is why they wouldnt hear it.  But if the same kind of evidence was presented today their is no way their would of been a conviction.  Good thread rest in peace mr. Davis sorry you were not treated fairly by our country

&#xD;&#xA;He had his appeal heard 4 times throughout that 17 years. And his execution date got pushed back 4 times as a result of it. Don&#x27;t blame the system, blame those spineless jurors and so called witnesses for their incoherency. They had all that time to recant and change their position, yet they waited until the last moment? WTF.

If you don&#x27;t think that capital punishment should be around you are crazy. We should use it more often so the idiots who kill people think twice. This is the best country in the world.You get to live twenty five years on tax paying dollars filing appeal after appeal even thought you are found guilty of the crime. In other countries, they&#x27;d just shoot you on the spot. Got to love those folks who hug the murderer and nothing to say about the victim who didn&#x27;t have a chance to live. Pathetic way of thinking here.
