The candidate's current job is software developer. Previous job...GO GO Dancer. He even had a nice little description about his job duties as a GO GO Dancer. Thought it was a joke until I looked him up on LinkedIn:
"Danced on stages setup in bar."
How 75% of the people in this world survive is beyond me. Who would put GO GO Dancer on their resume?
Strange shit.

I think about this stuff frequently. Everybody bashes exotic dancers, yet some of these gals are making 1K to 3K on an average night in 4-6 hours. Who's the dumbass?
I was talking to one dancer a few years back and she said she has this regular that comes to see her every Thursday night for about an hour or two. She said she averages about $2,800 every time he comes in. Just from him! Of course I don't know if she was being honest, but I believed her. Regardless, I don't judge anybody for what they do for a living or how much money they make. I judge people on character and morals and that's it. Period. Many people say this, but only some really mean it. I know a garbage man that makes 5K a month. No stress at all he says. Good company, set hours every day/week.
I tell some people what I do and occasionally I'll get a remark as if they wonder how I make ends meet. 1) How the Hell can I assume how much I make? 2) Money is only a fraction of the picture. I set my own hours, I don't work but 10-15 days a month. There's no hard labor involved. Working conditions are great. Sometimes I'll work for 4-5 hours and make $800 to $1,000. No joke... not bragging. It just goes to show you how some individuals are really very shallow thinkers. Their first thought is $$$ and they haven't the slightest clue. Oh well... I walk away and laugh after telling them, "Yeah I know... it's rough".
Never assume how much someone makes, whether or not they're happy, down and out, rich, broke, etc. I saw some guy on a cop show the other day walk up to a woman with a gun. She was leaving a storage unit in broad daylight. He shot her, killed her, took her purse and his buddy and him drove off. It was all caught on camera. She was broke. Didn't have a dime on her. So he robbed and killed a woman for nothing. This could happen to me today. It could happen to you.
Everything else is bullshit. LIfe is short, and it could be snuffed out at any moment. I'm gonna have fun while I'm here, and I really don't care how much money I make. I don't care how much you make and I'm certainly not going to question how you "make it" if you tell me you're a waste collector. Why would ANYONE do that? Idiots I tell you. Shallow narrow minded idiots.
Sorry for the rant. Peace.

He was only there for two months. Most of the girls don't make much money. 80% of strip clubs are trashy and the guys that go in don't spend money. I've been to some nice ones that are almost empty.
If you work in a big city, yes you can do well. However the jobs and good shifts are hard to get. Age is a big factor too. Sure you can dance for 5 years but there are 18 year old girls looking to take your customers.

What does money have to do with anything? Strippers don't get respect because they dry hump 70-year old men.

The guy was a male dancer at a club for faygs...so he went from developing HARDware to SOFTware
Man that is funny stuff. Classic. Social media is a girl and if someone wants to mess with you and ruin your name they can and there is nothing one can do about it.

Was he listing it so there were no gaps in employment on his resume? That's the only thing I could see listing that for if he's applying for jobs unrelated to that.

my co workers claims that "his friend did bachelorette parties and got laid by the bride to be on about 75% of the time" and this his salary was pretty damn good...
funny to see resumes like that though i gotta admit.
