start with a bank roll $512
    pick a single number 1-6.... "5"
    place $1 on 5
    roll....
if a 5 comes out collect winnings, $1, $2 or $3 profit possible,
    put profit in separate pile.
if no 5 comes out, place $1 back on 5.
    roll....
if one 5 comes out replace the loss, rebuild bankroll to $512 and start at step one with a complete bankroll.
if two or three 5's come out rebuild bankroll to $512 and put the excess into the profit pile.
if no 5 comes out place $2 on 5 again and continue this until you hit at least one 5...
    repeat with bets of 1, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256.

every round of betting there's 3 dice rolled at a 1/6 or 34% chance of hitting your number, with a $512 dollar bankroll you have ten rounds to hit your number with the potential of hitting double or triple 5's on those ten different rolls for profit along with hitting the first time. the odds for these things to happen are:

single number hitting with three die rolled, 34%. double number hitting, almost 7% and triples, half of 1%.

you can figure out your own units, the $1 was easiest.

it would absolutely be boring standing at a table raking a dollar here and there, but couldnt this make money? could you profit enough before that 0 for 30 streak of not hitting your number come along? would a casino even let you do it?

this is the only game of chance in a casino besides counting cards at a blackjack table that seem "beatable" because of the potential for doubles and triples profit. tell me why not.

I am probably one of the only people on this site that has played
sic bo and I can assure your system will not work...Your numbers are completely off...The House advantage for a single die bet from 1-6 is EIGHT PERCENT and the House advantage for hitting a Triple is THE WORST BET IN THE ENTIRE CASINO by a long shot with a house advantage of 30%!!!!! Worse than the previous king of being the worst game in the casino which preys on the elderly who want to throw away their pensions: KENO.

My advice...do not play Sic Bo... Roulette is one of the biggest money makers in the entire casino and it ONLY has a 5.3% house advantage (and 5.3% is awful)... fun game but you will lose your shirt in the end.

Stay away and stick with sports bud.

    sic bo odds

34.72% chance of hitting your number with three dice

16.66% (1 in 6) to hit with one die.

7% house edge on single number bets

    those are collect

i dont believe in systems either, but other than the "zero for thirty" monster biting your ass... why doesnt it work

yes, craps has better odds, .5% house edge on the pass line, 0% house edge with 5x odds behind the line , but there's no "bonus" in craps that creates the profit like the doubles and triples do in sic bo

it doesn't work because your not getting paid true odds therefore the house is taking a piece of your rightful winnings every time you hit...therefore, you can't profit over the long-run...the long-run being a zero for thirty streak eventually occurring

go ahead and try it...i've seen asian gamblers try this ALL THE TIME when I used to play it...they would be there for hours on end with 15 bucks to show for it...and they would never have the guts to lay the REAL bets of like 256 and 128 on one die when it hasn't come out in 8 or nine rolls...

You have the guts to lay $256 on a number five when it hasn't come out in 9 rolls? Be my guest...You'll have ONE DOLLAR to show for it if you hit...and if it doesn't...that's $512 and gas money and buffet money and your weekend night down and a really, REALLY shitty ride home when all is said and done...

    good luck

i dont believe in systems either, but other than the "zero for thirty" monster biting your ass... why doesnt it work

it doesn't work because your not getting paid true odds therefore the house is taking a piece of your rightful winnings every time you hit...therefore, you can't profit over the long-run...the long-run being a zero for thirty streak eventually occurring

go ahead and try it...i've seen asian gamblers try this ALL THE TIME when I used to play it...they would be there for hours on end with 15 bucks to show for it...and they would never have the guts to lay the REAL bets of like 256 and 128 on one die when it hasn't come out in 8 or nine rolls...

You have the guts to lay $256 on a number five when it hasn't come out in 9 rolls? Be my guest...You'll have ONE DOLLAR to show for it if you hit...and if it doesn't...that's $512 and gas money and buffet money and your weekend night down and a really, REALLY shitty ride home when all is said and done...

    good luck

good post, reality is that casinos dont give out free money, if it came down to the ninth play, i'd lay the 256 chips to kill the system or pop doubles and hit the "scripp" clubs.

    bsforsale,

Your system is called "PROGRESSIVE" style of gambling.

Many gamblers had been using that style for a long time inside a casino. But in the end, they all regrets for that system. Wasting your long hours of time just to get some money is not worth it. In the long run, you'll lose more than you can get if you had bad luck streak.

My suggestion is to poll your capital money on a group of 4 or 5 close friends or relatives to play at the casino, and play a system to beat the odds of the house. This kind of system are more effective income earner than a single player gambling alone using a system. The only disadvantage is, when one get greedy and play alone to this system.

    Good luck on your gambling!

And don't get GREEDY on winnings!!!

yeah hofil, i've seen people double and double again while progressive'ing at the craps and low limit blackjack tables, the only thing i was thought might make sicbo worth it was the "bonus" factor of double and triples, if you've missed a couple rounds and youre sticking up 32 or 64, if you pop a couple of those, the profit might outweigh the risk of not hitting your number after 30 rolls of the dice.  although unlikely, eventually 0-30 will get you. it's just fun trying to think of ways to beat the man. if i get to vegas you'll never see me grinding on a sicbo table, look for me at a 20x craps or poker table instead.

Sic Bo is one of the ONLY games in the casino that allow a betting range of $1 to $1000 and for that fact alone it is a favorite of proggressive systems. If applying a true martingale system of 2-4-8-16 etc. you would only have 10 no-shows until you reach the Limit. In the local casino the House limits payouts to $1000 so in playing #s the most you can bet on a single # is $336 in case the dice come up Triple. Believe me....10 in a row no-shows is not anyway out of the realm of showing.

Not familiar w/ craps rules, but made a tax free living w/ sports, then roulette.  The odds of winning the powerball is 260 million to 1, which is equivalent flipping a fair sided coin, 28-29 consecutive times, heads.  A european wheel has one green, instead of 0, 00, & if you land on the single green, they will return half your risk, if your playing the outside; red/black, odd/even, high/low.  (juice reduced to 1.4%)  Much of the above conversation is centered on doubling down; or the Martingale style of betting.  Applying a martingale from the time your seated, or when you see, 6-8 consecutive reds, and decide to fade, (b/c black is 'due') is foolish, & fuels all the nice architechture up & down the LV strip.  The key is initiating a martingale with a streak length of 37-38 consecutive trials.  ??? Most would ask, when would I ever see such a streak to capitalize on?  You won't.  You'd spend many lifetimes waiting to witness it.  However, artificial intelligence will reveal these streaks, sequences, & patterns.  That my friends, is when you apply a martingale with the odds in your favor.
