Most of the scams are from “exchanges”.. if you have your crypto in a wallet , you are fine for most part .. especially cold storage .. and “most” hot wallets..

with a wallet , as long as you don’t give your “keys” or phrase up , you are safe .. don’t click on anything that ask for you to connect your wallet .. Hell I don’t even accept air drops ..I don’t do “pre-sales” ..

That’s why I preach keeping your money off exchanges and be smart .. just like anything else , you get nothing in life for free , so don’t fall for the free stuff ..

But yes , crypto can be a safe haven for criminals ..Just like with pump and dumps and elderly stock scams , people pray on newbies and elderly in crypto ..if you’re smart , you will be fine 

And what I mean by EXCHANGES .. that’s Coinbase , crypto dot com , binance .. etc

Get you a wallet .. Even a simple Uniswap or MetaMask is 100 times safer .. you can do a lot better than those 2 and get cold storage ..

Its as easy as sending yourself the crypto from exchange .. 

Just make sure your write down your seed phrase and put in safe place .. safety deposit box , a safe , bury in backyard .. 

If it’s possible. Just don’t let anyone know you’re a crypto billionaire and you won’t have to worry about being robbed. 

Thats what crypto is for to be honest .. you should remain anonymous .. never let anyone know the to what extent .. I will never have to worry about being a billionaire BUT being a millionaire on paper is very easy .. BUT on same token , if you are “loose” with what you’re doing then you can become in debt millions
