North shore Long Island Between Glen Cove and western Huntington.
This is Nostalgia. a must see.
I’ve lived across the water from that house my entire life. Beautiful spot, big lawn on the water with unreal striper fishing right off the dock. So close I can skip a stone to it. A kid I grew up playing hockey with bought it in the early 90s.
Cold Spring Harbor is an amazing little town half way between nyc and Hampton’s. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Historic old whaling town and home to the Watson DNA labs. Billy Joel even had an album named after the town.

Great stuff guys. Speaking of Billy Joel...
Back in my trucking days I used to deliver to the Bayville IGA grocery store. 20 pallets every Wednesday, that is, if I wanted to take that run. So one day I see Billy Joel in the store and I say to the guy unloading my truck, "Is that really Billy Joel I just saw in the store?" He says, "Sure is. I'm ready for my break. C'mon back in and I'll introduce you to him."
Brings me back into the store and Billy Joel gives me a fist bump. I said, "Well, you're not Jimmy Page but I do like your keyboards". He got a chuckle out of that and we parted ways. Would see him at the store every now and then. One day I asked the truck unloader why a millionaire would do his own shopping? He said, "You mean you haven't heard about his driving?"
I'm like, "What???" Guy says "He's wrecked like 3 cars already so the housekeeper drives him everywhere now."
Small World.
