I would guess the only sport with really significant money bet illegally is football, so that would place most illegal betting around cities with a pro team or cities with a big college football programs.

The closest thing you could get to actual facts would be to look at convictions for illegal bookmaking

Dubai is the LAST place you&#x27;ll find gambling...completely illegal.Yes, they run the RICHEST race in the world (part of the RICHEST card of races), but it&#x27;s literally all for "show".  Those guys are wealthy enough that betting on some races is meaningless.  Maybe the breeding rights come into play down the road...but it&#x27;s about the production and bragging rights.I&#x27;m almost positive I&#x27;ve heard that the punishment is death; if not, a lengthy prison sentence is a given. TVG and Travel Channel always do specials when the Meydan racecourse opens their meet.

Why would anybody travel to Dubai? Wtf is there other than sand, scorching heat, some beaches, ridiculous prices and tons of laws.....There's no interesting culture other than imported slavery to develop that place, exotic police cars, massive shopping malls, glass sky scrapers......

LA flight is like 16+ hours, and people I know actually went there.

To see and do what? Go to the South Pacific, Vegas, Carribean. Hell even Palm Springs has the same crap. I don't get it.

He talked to me about receiving multi million dollar checks from the Al Maktoum family on private flights from St. Augustine to Dubai.
