Hello,I have a question about the spread in baseball to understand.For example the spread is like this:Tampa bay rays: Spread: &#x2B;1.5Odds: 1.862TorontoSpread:  -1.5Odds: 2.11I am not completely sure what the spread represents?But is it true that one of those spread bets will win and the other lose everytime! I mean only one bet can win for those bets?Thank you!

Thank you!I am still not sure if I understand. I am sorry as I am new to baseball.For example I wonder if I try to make an arbitrage bet on the spread like below example. Will this mean that any of those 2 bets will win and one bet will lose or is there any scenario where both can lose? There is no scenerio that a baseball game ends in fractional score and no way for there to be a victory that doesn&#x27;t end in either &#x2B;1 / &#x2B;2 or more.On the RunLine 1.5,always 1 winner/1 loser.
